We believe that the parent and school relationship is an important one and that direct parent involvement is crucial to the success of your child’s development and education.
Your child’s progress throughout their time at The First Steps will be shared with you regularly throughout the year; formally through written reports, Parent Teacher Conferences (PTCs) and informally through conversations with teaching staff.
Formal written reports are sent to parents at the end of Terms 1 and 3. PTCs are held at the end of Terms 1, 2 and 3, with an additional PTCs at the end of September to discuss how your child has settled into the school following the start of the school year in August.
We operate an ‘Open Door Policy’ at The First Steps and invite parents to speak to any member of staff when required. Alternatively, parents are welcome to contact their child’s class teacher via Seesaw that will be provided.
