Progress Reports and Communication

Good communication between school and home can help your child in several ways and here at FSB we strive to keep you informed every step of the way.

We know that when parents / caregivers are informed about their child’s education, they are better able to support their child’s learning at home. This might involve helping with homework, providing a quiet and comfortable place to study, or encouraging children to take an active interest in their education. Additionally, when parents are able to communicate effectively with their child’s school, they are better able to advocate for their child’s needs and ensure that their child is receiving the support they need to be successful in school. This can be especially important for children who may be struggling academically or facing other challenges in school. Research shows that when parents are actively involved in their child’s education, students tend to have better attendance, higher grades, and better overall academic and social development. Finally, good parent communication can help to create a sense of partnership and support between the home and school, which can help to create a positive and supportive learning environment for children.
